Faraway… waking up there one morning
Just you and me, and maybe the sun.
I’m not sure what I mean when I say faraway,
But I know that my faraway place
Doesn’t include all you people I’m tired of
It doesn’t include grey skies and pretentious and “creative” minds.
In my faraway place, you and I always tell the truth,
We don’t hide what we believe and disguise it with politeness,
We don’t need to justify ourselves to anyone,
We are not constantly judge.
We’re faraway, and it is sunny.
I dream of closing my eyes at night, hug you,
And suddenly waking up in this imaginary land.
I don’t know if I want to be there forever,
But I know that more often than I like to admit,
I wish I could be there.
